London has long been my favourite city, for reasons I can never explain (okay, it's partly the accents). Spending a few days there this past autumn after several years away just made me crave more, and I can't wait to head back this year. Until then, here's a peek at three rainy days of wandering those streets and reveling in my lack of sunburn.

Zareen and Jaxson spent their wedding day full of smiles, and to everyone there, it felt like watching their love in a movie. The whole day was chock full of personal details and inside jokes, as well as a beautiful and touching nod to Zareen’s late mother when Zareen wore the same sari she wore at her own wedding. Guys, this was one for the books.

I want to be honest: "best of" posts are a challenge for me. I am far too OCD to have all these sessions mashed into one post. However, taking the time to look back through the past year's client shoots, adventures, big laughs and epic moments always leaves me with a full heart, so I force myself to let go. This post is my version of a diary entry looking back on what was a challenging, fulfilling and beautiful year. It's a reminder of exactly why I do what I do. With my camera, I get to take part in the biggest and smallest moments of my clients lives. I get to document the moments that define me. And I get to capture a tiny piece of the beauty that the world has to offer. And that is the incredible thing that pushes me to keep moving forward.
Cheers to a messy year of living big, and consider me nothing but grateful to start it all again.
The last time I photographed Em and her beautiful family, we were in Bali having big adventures with their then-tiny baby, Charlie. I've loved watching her grow over the past couple years and it's nothing short of an honor to be able to photograph them together again. Here's to making it a yearly tradition, to friends and to this kind of love.
Maria & Chris are two of the sweetest people I've ever met, and their beautiful wedding was a perfect reflection of their big hearts, filled with meaningful details and a focus on family and friends. I loved every moment of this day with some of my favorite vendors, and am delighted that it's been beautifully featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

Hunter and I first crossed paths briefly a few years ago, and I was delighted and honored when he chose me to surprise his wife Brooke with anniversary photos in Paris (hooray for perfect timing!). I knew it would be a beautiful day because, come on, PARIS!
What I didn't expect was to fall so in love with these two and their beautiful marriage. I didn't expect that we'd spend the whole day laughing, and the whole evening drinking at a little cafe and talking about life. I didn't expect to leave with awesome new friends.
But that's exactly what happened and I am forever convinced that Paris is pure magic.

I love these two. I love their big smiles and real tears. When clients turn into friends long before the wedding itself, you know it's going to be an incredible day.
