Early Life of Lauren Daigle
Lauren Daigle is a female born in Lake Charles. Louisiana. She was born on September 9, 1991. Lauren Daigle grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and it was during her childhood that she got influenced by zydeco, blues, and Cajun music. Notably, her mother had already recognized that Lauren enjoyed singing to the point that she referenced her house “the music box.”
However, Lauren Daigle didn’t consider music seriously during the early days. She also came to start considering it after contracting cytomegalovirus at age 15. The situation saw her stay out of school for the next two years.
The unfortunate state however gave Lauren Daigle room to work on music. She took voice lessons that gave her a creative outlet. During her college prep school, Daigle planned on entering a medica field to take on mission work.
She the attended a charter school at a fast-paced session. Upon completion, she took a year off her education to focus on doing mission work in Brazil. She then attended Louisiana State University when she pursued Child and Family Studies.

Lauren Dagle was passionate about music from an early age. She loved singing and this passion laid foundation for a successful future career. Even while at Louisiana State University, she joined her choice and was an active member.
She even tried out for American Idol in 2010 and 2012 and this came from the encouragements she got from her family. However, the competitions didn’t work out as she had hoped.
Although Daigle was involved in other projects, she released her debut album “How Can It Be” on April 14, 2015. The album was a hit and even went on to earn a spot at position 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart.
Her album was a certified Gold and paved the way for her to work on and release other albums in the following years. She even got nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2016.
