Robert Duvall is an American male. He was born in San Diego, California, on January 5, 1931. Duvall grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, and this was because his father was a U.S. Navy admiral. Duvall attended Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. He then graduated in 1953, with a B.A. in Drama.

Duvall then got into the army during the Korean War. He served for an year and left in 1954. Duvall then got interested in pursuing an acting career and started by joining a Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City.
