He was the youngest child of Marvin Schneider, a real estate broker, and Pilar Schneider, a former kindergarten teacher and ex-school board president. He has two elder siblings, April and John Schneider. Rob comes from a mixed background. His grandma was a Filipina, while his grandfather was a white American.
