In February 2020, he was heavily criticized after giving bad comments about Dwyane Wade’s daughter who came out as a transgender.

In October 2021, Bossie Badazz came under fire again and this time he tweeted against an anti-gay. In the tweet, he encouraged Lil Nas X to take his own life. Twitter removed the tweet after report.
